LG Washer OE Error Code

LG Front Loading washer OE Error code and is not draining properly. 

The First Step in determining why the OE Error code is being presented is to clean the drain pump filter.  The cleanliest method is to use a full sized trash bag and drain out the water with the black water tube next to the filter into the bag until no water flows out.  Then, remove the pump filter and clean any obstructions out and replace tightly and test.

If the unit still wont drain after cleaning out the filter and it has a rattle while trying to drain, the drain pump has to be replaced.  This repair is one of the most common repairs that needs to be done and usually has a life expectancy of 5-7 years depending on washer usage but will add life to your unit!
